I first heard about the duality of human thought when a
philosophy professor of mine characterized it as “The twin pillars of Western Civilization”. He went on to explain that Aristotelian
thought and Platonic thought supported all the institutions and accomplishments
of the human race even before human history began. Long before Aristotle and Plato began thinking
and writing about it, these two thought paradigms began to lift primitive man
out of chaos.

influence of linear and non linear consciousness so they are not falsely held
against one another in antithesis.
