National Review Sues Cory Booker

National Review editor Rich Lowry announced Wednesday that his publication will sue Newark mayor and Democrat US Senate candidate Cory Booker, the City of Newark, and that city's police department. The dispute stems from NR's desire to verify a story Booker has repeatedly told about Wazn Miller, someone Booker claims died in his arms after being gunned down.

Lowry points out that although New Jersey is an open-records state, "[W]e have been stonewalled and given the run-around by everyone we’ve asked for help in obtaining the relevant police records."

Booker has already been caught once fabricating a story about someone called "T-Bone," a drug dealer who doesn't exist.

Cory A. Booker is the Newark (NJ) mayor, a director at the Bloomberg Family Foundation, and a member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Booker was among the first to join Bloomberg's "Mayors Against Illegal Guns," a group of mayors nationwide dedicated to tighter controls on guns.

Michael R. Bloomberg is the founder of the Bloomberg Family Foundation, the New York (NY) mayor, the co-chair for Mayors Against Illegal Guns, was a benefactor for the Harlem Children's Zone, and a donor for the Robin Hood Foundation.

Foundation to Promote Open Society was a funder for the Harlem Children's Zone, and the Robin Hood Foundation.

George Soros is the chairman for the Foundation to Promote Open Society, and a benefactor for the Harlem Children's Zone.
