Iowa Voter Poll: Only 47 Percent Believe Obama Born in the US

Over at the Obama 2012 website-the official Obama for Prez site–supporters can buy an Obama “Made in the USA” mug with a miniature copy of Obama’s birth certificate plastered on the side for twenty bucks and yucks. Meanwhile, a new poll of ‘likely Republican” Iowa voters revealed over 50% of those who responded believe Obama wasn’t born in the US or ‘were not sure.

Do you think Obama was born in the United States, or not?
The answers: 47% believe Obama was born in the US
31% believe he was not
21% not sure
