Glenn Beck Loses Half His Audience - Insults AKA Obama Skeptics

Glenn Beck Loses Half His Audience
Contributed by Fellowship of the Minds (Reporter)

Glenn Beck is losing his audience by the droves.

In January 2010, he had over 3.7 million viewers. On February 24, 2010, his viewers declined to 2.4 million. By June 16, 2010, Drudge Report has Beck’s viewers down to 1.9 million. In other words, in five months, Beck lost 1.8 million or 48.64%, that is nearly half of his viewers!

I don’t watch Beck because we don’t have Cable TV (getting it would mean drilling a hole through the floor of our house!). But I do know this much:

Beck has alienated me because of his treatment of Americans who are troubled by Obama’s continual refusal to release many documents, including his school records (from kindergarten through Harvard Law School), passports, medical reports, and original long-form birth certificate. (To see the differences between a Hawaiian long-form vs. the short-form birth certificate that was published online on Factcheck.org, GO HERE.)

The MSM, always eager to be willing mouthpieces for Obama, have coined the derisive label of “birthers” for those Americans who, according to a March 24, 2010, Harris Poll, number in the millions (the poll found that 25% of Americans believe Obama wasn’t born in the United States).

Speaking for myself, I have no idea where exactly Obama was born — whether it’s Hawaii, or Kenya, or the Moon. What bothers me is the secrecy because to keep a secret requires concealment, deception, and lies. The secrecy is especially unseemly for a president who promised his administration would be the most transparent, ever.

Glenn Beck has every right not to join the ranks of the skeptical. What skeptical Americans do not appreciate, however, is that he threw in his lot with our political enemies who make fun of us.
On Jan. 4, 2010, Beck used the derisive word “birthers” to refer to those who question why Obama continues to refuse to release his long-form birth certificate. Even worse, Beck calls us stupid, referring to the ”birther thing” as ”the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”

I have a Ph.D., was a tenured Full Professor, and am the sole author of four scholarly books and the co-author of another six. So I am secure in my intelligence credentials and not in the least intimidated by Beck’s or RedState’s or anyone’s mockery. Nor should others who do not have university degrees be intimidated. Your intelligence is not certified by diplomas. Actually, the stupid are those who mock us because they don’t even have the elementary common sense to know that a person lies and conceals only because he has something to hide because the truth is damaging.

I’ve also watched one of Beck’s recent shows, recommended to me by one of this blog’s regulars, in which he gave a long rambling lecture before two blackboards covered with his scribbles, about how liberal politicians are connected to socialist revolutionaries, and how both try to manipulate each other, blah, blah, blah.

Maybe Beck’s remaining viewers are impressed by his grandstanding attempt to be a professor. But I thought him to be a poor teacher. He rambled; he wandered off topic; the viewers couldn’t even see what he scribbled on the blackboards. (Note to Beck: profs today use PowerPoint!) After more than half an hour, I didn’t learn any more than what he had grandly proclaimed at the beginning of his lecture — which is that liberal politicians are somehow “connected” with socialist revolutionaries. I never did find out how exactly the two groups “manipulate” each other, nor what all this means for America. Frankly, I found Beck’s faux professorial lectures to be plain embarrassing.

If I had been a regular viewer of Glenn Beck, I would be among the 1.8 million who abandoned his show.

Conservative patriots really don’t need ”friends” like Beck.

My history as a civil rights activist back in the 1960s, the fact that my choice for POTUS was Condi Rice, plus Alan Keyes is a follower of my blog “The Steady Drip” all make me immune to accusations of racism.
I have a PhD, and I am in private practice as a psychotherapist, so more than likely I am not crazy.

The guiding principles for my professional research for articles and the books I write are the usual protocols of epistemology, scientific methodology, the rules of logic and the rules of evidence.

I am exempt from the “far right” label. I have been an Independent for years. My life time voting record: Johnson - Humphrey - McGovern - Carter - Anderson - Mondale - write in Sam Sewell (yep. I was so disgusted I voted for myself in '88 - Perot -Perot - Nader - and finally in 2004 Bush. So my voting record is Democratic and Independent. Bush is the first Republican I have ever voted for.

However, I am firmly convinced that AKA Obama is not eligible to be POTUS for many reasons no matter where he was born.

Somehow, you know its coming. That OMG moment is just around the corner. You can feel the inescapable reality creeping up on you. Something will leak. Someone will spill the beans.

“Everything that is secret will be brought out into the open. Everything that is hidden will be uncovered. 3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight. What you have whispered to someone behind closed doors will be shouted from the rooftops..” Luke 12:2

Beck does seem to be a little "off the wall" but at times he has excellent information about the obama dictatorship. Why he would defend obama's birth certificate is beyond me. It does not make sense.

Beck is not stupid enough to believe the certification of live birth photocopy on the web is all that is required for obama to prove who he is. Beck is all about heavy documentation of his information. Beck must know there is NO documentation that can verify obama's birth location.

I am in a quandary when it comes to beck's statements on obama's birth certificate. He is smarter that to think obama is real. The question is what is beck up to?

I think Beck can't stand up to Fox news management.
