I understand why the AOL poll is not scientific but neither are the polls the main stream media uses. It is obvious that they purposely contact more liberals than independents or conservatives. A scientific poll is supposed to be comprised of randomly selected people. So neither AOL or the other polls are truly scientific polls. The much larger number of participants in the AOL poll is impressive and may make their polls a better representation of what the people of America really think.
